AirPods won't Stop charging

Time for a New Charger:

The device has failed. So get a new charger. Start Here: AirPods and AirPods Case Replacement - Official Apple Support

Possible Reasons:

1. Debris suck in there (which a cotton swap may get out)
2. Heat may have used a bit of melting inside of the case
3. Humidity may have gathered in the location in which this is used.

So, just go for a replaced case.
