Daughter's iCloud image changes mine

Hi,

Just set up my daughter's new phone and signed her in with her own Apple ID which is linked with family sharing. Whenever she changes her iCloud contact image, this also changes mine on my phone and other devices, even though I'm signed in under a different Apple ID. Have tried restarting, ensuring contact cards are all set correctly and these have our own images on but these are also weirdly linked. Any thoughts please?

It's likely that you are sharing some kind of information piece in your contacts (perhaps a home phone, email address, etc.) Contacts is trying to outsmart you by indicating that the contact might be a duplicate; the same person based on information listed. You can check in contacts to see what shared info exists and erase it. You can also check (I believe at the bottom of the contact card) where it says contact suggested from.... or similar.
