What happened to my “Visual Voicemail”?

After updating to iOS 15 on iPhone SE, I noticed that my “Visual Voicemail” was missing and that I had to call a number to get into my voicemail messages. Talk about a throwback to the 80’s and 90’s, before Steve Jobs and Apple first introduced “Visual Voicemail! So, is this a corporate decision to remove the “Visual Voicemail” or was a mistake that will be rectified soon?
