visual voicemail lost on iphone 8 plus

Did IOS 16 stop support for visual voicemail on iphone 8plus? Is this the beginning of phasing out support for 8plus phones? No one seems to be able to help resolve this issue.

Visual Voicemail Issues on iPhone 11 I have had an iPhone 11 for about 3 years now and just the other day someone asked me why I didn't have visual voicemail set up on my phone. We cannot figure out why I do not have visual voicemail or how to access it after googling it for hours! Any advice? I have an unlocked iPhone that is serviced by StraightTalk and they are a carrier that supports it, so I am not sure what could be keeping the visual voicemail from being allowed/set up/to work?

iPhone lost visual voicemail feature since updating to iOS 16.3.1 iPhone SE 22, iOS 16.3.1 Lost my visual voicemail after update last night. Now I can only Call Voicemail . This is not working for me. How do I get my visual transcript voicemail back? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

No, it should still work; it does on our iPhone 8. It’s a carrier function, and if you have any problems with it contact your carrier. BTW, shutting down and restarting the phone will frequently fix visual voicemail. And VVM requires that cellular data be enabled; it can’t use Wi-Fi.
