Text alert

I have one friend I text regularly and neither of us get alerts when we text each other. We have checked our settings numerous times and they seem to be set correctly. This happens only with this person

Text/iMessage alerts For months now, I have been intermittently not receiving text or iMessage notifications from anyone and everyone. It never seems to matter what time of day is it, or who is messaging me, it’s just random as to when and who my phone decides to not alert me about. It’s getting really frustrating!! I’ve tried turning my phone off and on, playing with notification settings, focus settings etc., and have had absolutely no luck. Now it has started doing it to my families iPhones as well. We have got either 11’s and XR’s in our house.

Do not disturb issue I get text alerts when one person in particular texts me when the do not disturb setting is on. I have confirmed that this person is not set up for that to happen. What can I do to stop those alerts?

iMessage notification from friend being shown as him texting both himself and me. I have tried everything. This only started after the update and it is so annoying. It will read as +1 (xxx) xxx-xxxx To you & (Friend). The phone number listed is his. I can provide screenshots. This only started yesterday morning. I never changed his contact or anything and it’s not happening with anyone else. I’ve tried everything to fix this. Please help.
