Apple ID settings verification failed due to problem connecting to the server. I've removed my iphone from my Apple ID account but can't get pass entering password without getting error message ”problem connecting to server”. Do I need to go to the Apple store for help?

Are you using a VPN connection? That can interfere with accessing your Apple ID account.
