Your iphone must use the same iCloud and FaceTime account

I have an iphone and a mac. Both are signed up using the same account and facetime uses the same account as well. But when I try to call using my facetime through mac, it says "Your iphone must use the same iCloud and FaceTime account"

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.5

On your iPhone, open Settings ➡️ Apple ID (Your Name at Top): The email address that you see under your Apple ID should be the same that is used for Messages and FaceTime. Confirm this.

Yes all the platforms use the same Apple ID. Confirmed.
