iPhone 16 Pro Photos app crashing I just bought the new iPhone 16 Pro last 2 weeks ago and for the last 3 days the Photos application keeps crashing. I open it and not even after a second, it crashes and automatically shuts down. After I turn my phone off then on, the app opens once and I can scroll inside the album, but it just crashes once I open it again. iOS 18.2 Photo App Crash and Freeze on iPhone 16 Pro I have noticed this behaviour after the latest update to 18.2. The photo app doesn’t open - it stays on a blank screen and then crashes. So, any app that needs access to photos also freezes while selecting photos or any photo operation. I also started using Final Cut Camera to film extremely short videos - not sure if this is relevant but thought it is worth mentioning. Did a complete reset and the problem still exists.
