I have a new SE Watch. It is connected to my ATT network and I can make phone calls when the phone is within 30 feet or so. Can I use it for phone calls when my IPhone is out of range? If yes, what is required to set it up?

To unpair and erase watch and remove Activation Lock

From a web browser, sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.

Go to Find iPhone.

Click All Devices at the top of the screen.

Click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.

Click Remove from Account.

You can only achieve that if you have the GPS+Cellular version of the watch,if it is the GPS only version then you need to have your phone with you to make calls and send texts.
