Flexgate MacBook Pro 2016

i got the Flexgate problem (screen shuts off when open at 90 degrees)

contacted Apple support and they told me tough luck the 13-inch MacBook Pro Display Backlight Service Program expired for me 3 months ago. Does someone know what to do? I don’t want to pay $800 to replace a cable.

There's little we as only users can do to help you. Apple is pretty strict about their repair programs.
