homekit and Apple TV

I found that Apple TV HD should work as a hub for homekit. It did not work for me. When I replaced it with AppleTV 4K it worked just fine. This is not a question but maybe it is helpful to others.

‘Thread’ is a hardware feature that does require the newer model. ‘Thread’ is available through Apple TV 4K (2nd generation) (2021) and also HomePod Mini (2020).

Home kit, Eve accessories and Apple TV, it worked mostly allright. But the thread network did not show up and I could not switch the accessories on and off. After replacing the ATV HD for ATV 4K it worked fine. So indeed it seems that the interfacing was the problem.
