How to remove or disconnect from “Control Other Speakers & TVs”

Hello everyone. I am connected to a wifi that at least 200 other people are also connected to and I can see all their devices I can connect to, and somehow I connected to someone’s speakers so I have the option to control it too. How do I disconnect from this speaker? Can they also control and see my IPhone since I can see what they are listening to and watching on my Aiplay thing. Thanks for the help in advance.

Hello CoolSupernoodle,

It's normal for you to see others that are connected to the same Wi-Fi network as you are. This article explains in more details the different AirPlay connections: Use AirPlay with Apple devices - Apple Support

You can toggle your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth setting off and back on to disconnect from the device you're connected to: Use Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in Control Center

Best Regards.
