Hey there,

I connected my stereo system to my iPad with Bluetooth. So, now it appears on airplay devices’ list . I want to remove it from the list, but l didn’t succeed to.

Does some know how to do it?

Hi Yealym,

Thanks for reaching out and posting in Apple Support Communities. We're happy to lend a hand with your iPad, AirPlay, and stereo system.

When opening up and using AirPlay, it's going to look for devices that are on your Wi-Fi's network. So as long as the stereo is paired with the iPad, it's going to be found in the list of devices. See Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror the screen of your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support for more details.

If you prefer, you can remove the stereo from Bluetooth and only pair with it when you are wanting to use it. See Pair a third-party Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support, it has the following:

Unpair a Bluetooth accessory
To unpair a Bluetooth accessory, go to Settings > Bluetooth, find the device you want to unpair, and tap the More Info button , then Forget this Device. This removes the accessory from the list of available Bluetooth devices.

To add the Bluetooth accessory to your device again, place it back in discovery mode and repeat the steps to pair your device.

Reach out anytime you have questions.

Take care!
