How to hide unwanted Airplay devices from my 'sound' menu list on my Mac?

There are multiple smart TVs and Apple TV connected to my home network and all of them appear of my 'sound' list on the menu bar. I use it for easy access to switch between my airpods and speakers and such. The problem is that I would accidentally click on other airplay devices that do not belong to me. is there a way hide unwanted devices from showing up on the list?

What you could try is, on your Mac, go to System Preferences, (easiest way is to use the Search Bar at the top) Search for "AirPlay". When the setting comes up, there is an option for "Allow AirPlay For"... Change it to "Current User". This may allow less random options for AirPlay.

*NOTE: Make sure that you are logged into your Mac with YOUR AppleID (versus another family member)... as this setting will only work properly if, only devices registered to you are recognized.
