this device wants to use your iCloud account notifications

Even though I have taken both devices to the Genius Bar and talked to Support by phone, I am again seeing "Approve "X MacBook Pro" this device wants to use your iCloud account" notifications continually on my new MacBookAir. Even when sleeping, the right side fills up with this message. Neither confirm or approve makes the stop.

I've got the Air and my iPhone with me, but not the Pro.

Anyway to stop the notifications? and correct this issue?
