After installing an eSIM it says "SIM not supported" locking me out

After installing an eSIM on my iPhone 13 pro it says "SIM not supported" and a bunch of mumbo jumbo about how the SIM isn't supported by the current activation policy, and locks me out of my phone.


my phone is unlocked from the network as confirmed by ATT, the physical SIM is my original SIM that has worked in the phone for over 6 months. You should add an option to disable an ESIM while locked out of your phone


I need this to be fixed because I cannot access my phone now.


I have connected it to iTunes and updated the software as well, and it is still locked.
