Apple TV Up Next - Search, Manually sort and filter
I love the Up Next feature, in particular because it provides an easy way to see what you’re currently watching across a whole plethora of Apps without having to open each of them in turn, to see what you fancy continuing next. It’s also great that when something on your Up Next suddenly appears on one of your streaming services that I even get a notification to say it’s now available!
Suffice to say, I’ve used it so much that my ‘up next’ is perhaps now more like a whole wish list library - of which possibly 30-40 shows are all part way through. Don’t judge me. The problem is, if it want scroll through everything it’s really cumbersome. Is there any way to open a ‘see all’ screen of the up next list like there are ‘see all’ options for all the other lists?
Also, is there a way to manually sort what you want to show higher up? If I add an old movie I feel like watching ‘some time’ to up next I don’t want it at the front of the list. I just want it somewhere so I can come across it later on… is that possible? At the moment it seems to want me to start watching that show, before I’ve finished watching everything else I’ve started! (Which as you can imagine makes things even harder for me!)
I’d love to know if it’s possible to search up next or even just to filter the up next list by movies, tv shows, or probably more helpfully ‘currently watching’
Maybe there’s just too much choice, but maybe I’m also just missing something that Apple must have designed to make the function usable? Or is this something I’m the only one struggling with….?
