24h screen time

Hi. Recently I've realised that my Mac sometimes shows constant screen time. From time to time I realise that it's weirdly hot even if I've just started using it. And every time that it happens the screen time shows that it's been constantly working since I've closed the laptop. Even if I haven't used in a few days. It just shows days of constant screen time on different apps or websites that I use, for example instagram. And the only thing that I can do in that situation is to turn it off and it helps. But it's quite annoying because sometimes I need to use it a few times a day and I don't want to turn it off every time.

From what you describe, it seems your Mac is never entering sleep mode.

Perform an SMC Reset: How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support. It may not apply to your specific model Mac though: Identify your MacBook Air model - Apple Support.
