I have a new MacBook Air, M1, 2020, Big Sur 11.4. When I plug in my Apple USB SuperDrive, Model A1379, all I get is a window that says, USB Accessory needs power. Connect Apple USB...to a USB port on this Mac. Works fine on my older Mac.
