Trouble with mail

I get this message when I try to open my mail. "Mail cannot save information about your mailboxes because there isn’t enough space in your home folder. Quit Mail and delete any files you don’t need. Then open Mail again." How do I locate my home folder? I have a Mac Airbook 13.
