I don’t know how to change the print settings back on my brother printer so when I send a document from my phone or IPad it will print regular font
when it is sent from my laptop it prints normal
its as if the paper size has been changed but it says letter.

Are you printing from a website or from an app, like Notes?
If printing from a website, you don't have any control over the font or size.
If printing from an app, you can change the font size for the document, and see a preview of the text before printing.
