i use Apple Pay successfully on iPhone 6. Purchased a watch (Series 5) and have installed a credit card via the watch app.
the instruction is to double click the side button on the watch but this does not bring up the image of the card and certainly doesn’t recognise a shops machine to pay
any help much appreciated. It is doing my ‘ed in!
Is your card displayed when you open the Wallet App directly from your watch? 
Have you experimented with the "double click" interval? I have noted that a member of my family had trouble finding correct "speed" of the "double click."

Yes, the card is displayed when I open the Wallet App.
and, I had previously been told not to double click too quickly. Your suggestion to experiment was worthwhile- A very rapid Double click and up comes the card. I can sleep soundly (here in UK ) and will try and pay for something tomorrow.
