Watch doesn’t work to pay at checkout

How do I use the pay feature on my watch? I have the credit card loaded and visible it when I wave it at the card reader or tap it on the card reader it does not respond. I have tried this at multiple retail outlets and added the card back in, nothing seems to work.

Problems using Apple Watch for Apple Pay When using my Apple Watch for Apple Pay, double clicking the bar on the watch does not always bring up the credit card. Yesterday for example I made several payments with my watch and then the next payment I tried to make did not bring up the credit card. I double clicked several times but each time the wrong page came up. Today all is well again. I have had this problem happen a few times. Any advice?

Double click takes me to settings how can use it for Apple Pay Double clicking my watch takes me to settings. How can use my Apple Pay? I’ve already set up my card.
