iTunes Remote app "Play Next" and "Add to Up Next" stopped working in iOS 26 / MacOS 26

In the iTunes Remote app I used to be able to touch and hold on a song title and select either "Play Next" or "Add to Up Next". Also, I could view the "Up Next" list from the "Now Playing" screen and then "Add" songs from there. All of this has stopped working in iOS 26 with MacOS 26. This is on a November 2024 14-inch MacBook Pro (32GB, MacOS 26.0) from an iPhone 13 mini (128GB, iOS 26.0). Note: I can still "Edit" the "Up Next" list. I can delete songs and re-arrange their sequence there. It's only the "Add", "Add to Up Next" and "Play Next" functions that are broken.

I have a similar problem which is that using the iTunes Remote to play a playlist, the Mac Mini I use as a music server only plays one song and stops. The Playlist is not added to the queue on the Mac.

Music will add the playlist to the queue if I use screen sharing and double click on a song in the playlist. A single click only puts the song in the little mini control bar at the bottom, then you have to hit the play button to start playing.

Bottom line is that Tahoe broke iTunes Remote.
