why is siri. saying hju instead of who
When I say hey siri send what’s app message it says to HJU but the text says to who.
Anyone any ideas

No, it’s a software problem! If you change the voice from British to American, it stops doing it and instead it says what do you want to say?
Apple software has a bug in it plain and simple and it needs to be resolved.

if you have a Toyota or some other cars you may have other problems- I’ve had to create workarounds for these issues
No more HJU ! Once I changed Siri voice to American from British ! Couldn’t use WhatsApp or messages in car for a while now . Now fixed cheers 😀, come on Apple!
Is everyone reporting this issue to Apple - if you don’t it will never get fixed 😒
if you are using iOS26 you can report it using the Feedback icon.
I have the same problem with hju thing. So I change to American in Siri settings on my phone or in the car. Have no idea how to do it in car !
Nothing to do in the car, just on the phone.
