will apple watch 10 ever have O2 saturation function?

I have heard there is some kind of legal issue between Apple and whoever makes the O2 saturation function. Is that true?

Why is Blood Oxygen measurement missing on Apple Watch Series 10? I just bought a new Series 10 Watch and now see that Blood O2 measurements are now available because of Apples licensing problem. This is an important feature for me and would not have upgraded if I knew this wasn't available. I had it on my series 8 watch. When is this issue going to be redolved ? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

That's true in the USA, but not outside of it. Watches currently sold there won't have that functionality.
