Bluetooth pairing issue between iPhone 13 and MacBook running macOS Monterey

Have they attempted to set up an update for Bluetooth pairing between the iPhone 13 and the MacBook Monterey yet?

If so, it still doesn’t work. Although I do have the iPhone connected to the laptop via USB cable & an UPDATE just installed on the IPhone that unfortunately failed to connect anything together.

You can share things like spreadsheets and documents by storing them in the cloud (e.g., iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive). In the case of the Notes app, you can synchronize Notes directly through iCloud.

Some apps have both iPhone and Mac versions. These include the Apple Pages, Numbers, and KeyNote apps. If you have a Microsoft 365 subscription, that gives you access to both Mac and iPhone versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Macs and iPhones don't use Bluetooth pairing. They work together via things such as

I'm not sure there is any problem to be "resolved."

There is nothing to resolve, pairing two Apple devices together has never been an option unless your tethering.

It is possible for Macs and iPhones to work together. They do so every day. Just not using the particular Bluetooth pairing implementation that you are talking about.

As for apps, the Mac and the iPhone have always been different platforms that run different apps. (Due to similarities in both the hardware and the operating systems, Apple Silicon Macs can run some iPhone apps. But normally you would look for Mac versions of applications .)

razmee209: I was reading some questions about the attempt to resolve this process & the issue from back in 2021 here in the community comments. Maybe not using Bluetooth, but maybe using their iPhone Data or WiFi, people were definitely asking HOW = how to link their IPhone devices with their MacBooks and use them together = see the same software & share info on Apple devices as they thought they were going to be able to do when they bought them?

I came across those posts looking for the same answer today = 4 years later. Unfortunately it seems like it’s not possible, which is too bad.
