Short answer: Since the Mac hasn't been turned on or connected to the internet, Find My won't be able to provide real-time location updates

A bit longer answer: However, there is a way to check when it was last seen or used.

Option 1: Use the Find My App on iPhone << Try again, just in case.

  1. Open the Find My app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the Devices tab at the bottom.
  3. Find your MacBook in the list. If it was seen recently, you should see a timestamp like “Last seen \[date/time]” below the MacBook's name. That’s the last time it was connected to the internet and Find My was able to ping it. If it's showing “No location found” it means the MacBook hasn’t come online since it was lost, or it was erased or turned off with no Wi-Fi connection.

Option 2: iCloud Web

1. Go to [iCloud.com](https://www.icloud.com) and sign in.

2. Select Find iPhone > tap All Devices > choose your MacBook.

3. Same as option 1 — it might show last known location or “Offline.”
