How to restore 'match style' feature for copy and paste in Pages on new MacBook Air?

I recently got a mid 2020 Airbook and much to my dismay discovered that the "match style feature" when coping and pasting was no longer available. It is incredibly annoying when having to constantly reformat. What were they thinking!! Is there a work around? I do a lot of copy and paste. Such a waste of time to constantly reformat. Still using my 15 yr old iMac. But need the Airbook for work. Any help on this?

Pages v14.4 that you should be using on Sequoia v15.5 has Format menu > Copy/Paste Style. That has no changed in years.

The Edit menu Copy, Paste, and Paste and Match Style have not changed either, but depending on what was put on the clipboard from a non-Pages paste will determine how either of the Paste commands produce content in Pages. These are not intended for pasting a copied Style from the Format menu, and in some cases, work just the opposite of your expectations.
