since 15.5 update over the weekend, realizing i cannot open pages documents i've created the past couple of days
i've been able to right-click to override & open what i've needed (old or new documents)
now it won't let me do that -- just DONE or MOVE TO TRASH ?

Can you launch Pages v14.4 and using the Open… menu item, locate and open the Pages document in that manner?
Where is that document stored? Does that Pages document show a white textual icon with a file extension .pages?
I have updated to Sequoia v15.5 on two Apple Silicon Macs and a 2020 Intel iMac without any issues opening Pages documents. All are stored on the local drive. Unrelated to your problem, I never use white space punctuated filenames.
