I have recently purchased iPhone 16 and it prompted an update 18.5. After the update my bluetooth devices do not stay connected and forces me to reconnect or re pair. Often times uses forget this device and re pair. The same issue is happening with my acura handsfree device.
Is there any suggestion on this issue?

Every time i want to connect a device, it's not possible, and need to forget and reconnect..... big issue that broke the use of headphones.
I did all the ways that I knew to solve the problem and also the solutions I found here (Apple Support) but it did not work.

I have the same issue since OS18.5. The issue continues with OS 18.6.

Still happens to me on 18.6. Today my 16 Pro wouldn't connect to my airpods. Yesterday it wouldn't connect to my truck.
I'm on 18.6.2 (9/2/25) and still have the issue.
