iCloud Photos: Delete from this device only, not across all devices nor from iCloud backups.

By now, it should be standard operation for a person to be able to backup all of their photos and videos to iCloud and not have to see it nor keep any type of version of it on their physical device; especially given the unbelievably shallow amount of hard drive space given as per the average device capability, sans hard disk expandability— a bogus attempt at ‘improvement’ and a seemingly blatant effort to obligate a reason for different price points on various market options (i.e., the phones are priced very specifically based on internal hard drive storage space; 64Gb, 128Gb, 256Gb, etc.)— combined with the longevity of certain users accounts that by now (greater than 10 years of patronage) require more iCloud space than one can possibly consume on a specific mobile device.


~ In other words, I want to delete something that is taking up space on my device (eg. Large Video file). I want to delete this item from my device, but not from my iCloud nor from any other devices, necessarily.


I believe we are given too few options in this regard and have good reason to expect more opportunities to specify directives according to our individual preferences based on our own personal ideals and desired outcomes; without having permanent repercussions for making said choices.


I want to know how to access this type of feature and if, since such action is currently unavailable, I have any means by which I could influence Apple to improve their applications to accommodate such needs across my devices and iOS/MacOS systems.


There are dozens of obvious improvements that still, even after many years of patient anticipation, have not been added nor resolved in permanence. Although, I believe what I am asking for may have been available to at least one of my devices (iPhone 14) last week but then it appears something has changed and some of the better features upon which I relied have now seemingly disintegrated. Perhaps it was a fluke or a misconception on my part. Irregardless, I need an opportunity to communicate directly with people who are capable and in charge of of providing these accommodations. My only aim is to benefit the outcomes of your services, applications, and overall quality and capabilities concerning the functionality of your products & services.


Q: Apple, what is the direct contact info for the team(s) or relevant personnel that will best be able to work with me on adding specific features to future updates?
