How do I stop iMac 2019 from automatically turning on?

This seems to happen after upgrading to Sequoia (maybe Sonoma too). There used to be an option in Energy Saving for auto-turning on with a timetable. That's now gone and it turns on/is always on when plugged in. Hardly energy saving! How do I stop this?? I'm looking for REAL answers, -not speculation.

Thanks

Thank you all. I've reset via Terminal. As has been said, it is turning on exactly when it used to be scheduled to do so. As background, I recently bought a new IMac so this one has been retired to a corner pending sale, so I only recently noticed it turning on automatically. I'm not at all techie but interesting that this ghost command remains from Monterey.

Thank you, I'll try that. Just to clarify it was on at the wall all the time but since it turns itself on, I've been switching it off at the wall.

From my perspective
