Just received an email about my perfectly working trade in saying it doesn't power on!!

My Mac mini was working great but I decided to trade it in for $95 and went ahead and purchased a new Mac mini before the tariffs sets in. A week later I receive an email stating that my trade in was not powering on/off - also photo were included in the email and it showed pictures of my Mac along with a keyboard - the weird thing is that I never sent a keyboard. I was very unhappy to hear that my Mac was no longer working....now I'll be left with a non working Mac and out the $95 I was expecting. Made several phone calls but no resolve came out of this.

I specifically called Apple tech support to guide me through getting the Mac ready for the trade so to insure it was done properly.

Very disappointed. I've always been happy with the customer support that I've received from Apple but this time around not so much.

What do you expect us to do, we are all end users too? Prior to shipping the computer one should ALWAYS document using date and time stamped photos that show the condition of the computer running and cosmetically. If you do not you just put yourself into the position you are currently in, he said - she said. Consider this a cheap ($95) lesson and when trading in an Apple product again document the device well prior to shipping it out.
