iPhone 16 Pro freezing and glitching after iOS 18.5 update

I’m experiencing the same, how could you produce an update that causes phones to glitch, why release an update when IOS 18 was fine.

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
4. Proceed from there as necessary

"We hope the issue will be fixed in the next update"

With multiple "Me Too"s, it is affecting many. You need to report this to Apple, as I recommended to the OP. Try what was mentioned above by lobsterghost1, and report back the results.

After EVERY iOS, this procedure is recommended. So please do this and keep this for future reference --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

Huh?? They own an iPhone 16 Pro. They're not asking about an iPhone 12 and nothing they have suggested would indicate their phone is fake in any way.

The author of this thread most definitely didn't create any update, so why you are asking them such a quesstion, is a mystery? Did you think you're writing anyone from Apple here? You're not. This is a user to user only forum, which Apple doesn't participate nor read for user feedback. You also seem to be under the impression that if a few people are having an issue after an update, everyone must be having an issue. Most people aren't having any issue with iOS 18.5. I have two iPhone 16 Pro models, both on iOS 18.5, neither of which are having an issue.

Read my post above and at a minimum learn how to Force Restart your iPhone by opening the link I provided and see if that solves your issue.

Any idea when the next update will be out. It’s giving me connection issues, apps not logging in. Slow responses.

In having the issue now has rebooted Twice today out of nowhere iOS 18.5
