iOS 18.5 Mail app stuck on loading screen when forwarding or replying to emails with images in Microsoft 365 accounts

Hello. Ever since iOS 18.5 has come out those users in my environment are complaining that when they forward or reply to an email, it is stuck on the compose screen showing "LOADING" for a very long time. This seems to only be happening with emails that have images in it. The email accounts in question in their mail app are Microsoft 365. Is anyone else seeing this? Our users who have not yet updated to iOS 18.5 do not seem to be complaining about this issue and if I open and forward the same email on their devices, it loads right away whereas those on 18.5 are sitting on the loading screen.

As a workaround solution, I’ve found the following works to quickly reply or forward emails when mail gets “stuck”:

when viewing the original email that you want to reply or forward, Select All of the text in the email body. Then when you reply or forward, the email will be instantly created and you can type right away.

In addition to the blank, stuck Mail screen, and the unsuccessful reset network settings having any positive results, I now get zero notifications (Lock Screen, sounds, badges) for the Mail app. I have downloaded the Gmail mail app and put it right below the Mail app on my Home Screen and for notifications I am only using badges and I have kept my Mail app as my default email app. The only way to get messages from Mail is to manually open the Mail app and then it loads the messages. I don’t know how to get the Mail app to work. It’s gone from bad to worse.
