Why does my iPhone 14 ringer keeps turning off?

iphone 14. Does not ring or vibrate or notify me. I find ringer turned off in settings. I reset. It works for a time, then reverts to silence. Renders phone useless.

other friends report this issue.

what gives. Need permanent fix.
