How can I fix audio problems on Philips 499P9H external monitor connected to my MacBook Air?

I just bought a new monitor (Philips 499P9H) to use with my macbook air m3 2024.

I connect it with a USB-C cable and the sound doesn't transfer right. It's like it is "lagging" just reversed. Hard to explain but when I tried to put on a movie on Netflix it skipped REEEALLY fast forward, it's like the sound is trying to catch up with the picture but it can't.

I need someone to give me instructions and guidance "for dummies" about what I am doing wrong.

What information do you need to know to help with my case?
