MacBook Air M1 with Lenovo Qreator 27 Monitor - No Sound under MacOS Ventura

Not able to solve following issue. MacBook Air M1 is connected to a Lenovo Qreator 27 Monitor with built-in USB-Hub. Connection between screen and laptop via USB-C cable. Under Mac OS Monterey all is fine. Under Mac OS Ventura, the screen is not recognized as an audio device - hence audio output not functioning under Ventura.

Support for MacOS is not the best from Lenovo, even firmware update tool not available for Mac.

Is there any way to solve this?

The link below from Lenovo indicates it can be connected via HDMI

Suggest attempting using the HDMI method and Test again versus "built-in USB-Hub "

Hubs since about macOS 12 Monterey have been and are known to have issues both in Monterey and Ventura and is 100% dependent on the " Chip Set " in the HUB as to whether the HUB will or Will Not Function as the user expects.
