How can I repair the Serial Bus on my Newton MessagePad?

I recently donated a whole lot of old Mac equipment to a local nonprofit. But I just couldn't part with my old Newton Messagepad 2000. The problem is that it suffered the dread syndrome of what I think is called the serial bus separating from the circuit board.

Just for old time's sake, it would be nice to get that fixed, but I must admit it's beyond my soldering skill level.

Alternatively, feel free to PM me if you want to buy this from me...but it would be nice to be able to have it working, even if I then sell it.
