My iphone 13 does not connect to itune but my iphone 8 does

I am trying to load my music from itunes to my new iphone 13 but itdoes not show in itunes but if I connect my iphone 8 that shows in itunes so it can not be the cable connection.

iPhone 12 does not show up in iTunes 12.8.2.3 Hi all, My problem is this: My old and extensive music library is still sitting locally on my old iMac (mid 2011, OS Sierra 10.12.6) with iTunes 12.8.2.3 I can't get my current iPhone 12Pro (2022, iOS 16.1.2) to show up in iTunes in order to backup or sync music from my library to the device. I tried different cables and ports the devices all show up in my Apple account iTunes is logged into the same Apple account as my phone the iMac is also logged into the same icloud and Apple account any ideas on how to fix this? itunes on my mac no longer recognizes my Iphone to transfer music. It did until the last update to ios 17.1.1 on the phone. I have an older mac, but there had been no problem with Itunes. I changed USB ports, and cables. Rebooted both my laptop, running OS X El Capitan, and my IPhone, running 17.1.1. My Iphone does not show up in ITunes, although it does in Photos, so I know the two are connected.
