How to get Macbook to power on automatically after running Boot Camp.

I have a 2013 MacBook Air running Big Sur. I have it configured it as a 24/7 remote server running Windows 10 under Boot Camp with the lid closed and access it using TeamViewer.

But I can't figure out how to get the system to power on after it shuts down due to loss of a/c power to the power adapter and subsequent complete discharge of the battery.

How can I get the MacBook to power on when a/c power is restored after it loses a/c to the power adapter and the battery runs down?

I've tried "Start or wake up" every day at a specific time, but that does not work if I shut down while running Boot Camp and it didn't work when I lost a/c power and the battery drained. It works if I shut down while running MacOS.

When Apple laptops have their battery completely drained, they may have trouble powering back on even when you press the power button or for Intel Macs perform an SMC Reset. You want to avoid having the battery drain completely.

You can try using the following "pmset" options in macOS to see if they may work:

sudo pmset -a autorestart 1 acwake 1

These commands may work for some Macs, but not others. Unfortunately Apple is not very clear on which ones are which although the output of the following command may provide a clue, plus you can confirm if the above settings were invoked:

pmset -g
