Apple Music Airplay Disables Universal Control

When using Universal Control between my MacBook Pro (2019 Intel 16-inch, macOS 15.4.1) and iPad Air (4th Gen, 18.4.1), Universal Control disconnects when I initiate AirPlay to the MacBook Pro from the iPad. I then need to go back into settings and re-enable it.

Apple Music Airplay turns off Universal Control TL:DR: Sending Apple Music from iPad to Macbook Pro turns of Universal control setting Context: My desk setup includes my work Macbook Pro and my iPad. The Macbook is plugged into a hub that connects to an external monitor and to some external speakers. I like to control the music using the iPad, and do so by Airplaying the Apple music to the Macbook, which then sends the signal through the hub, to the monitor, and finally along to the external speakers. This all works fine, but when Universal Control is enabled and the Airplay is initiated, this terminates the Universal Control and switches to Airplaying the music. It doesn't just terminate the Universal Control, it switches off the appropriate setting on the Macbook's Advanced Display Setting menu. ("Allow your pointer and keyboard to move between any nearby Mac or iPad"). Manually reengaging that setting restores Universal Control just fine and the Airplay continues as expected. Doesn't seem like a limitation, just a weird side effect of enabling the Airplay. Kind of a bummer since it means pulling open Display settings multiple times a day just to reengage the Universal Control. Any fix?

Universal control seems to conflict with the Music app's Airplay. I have two Macs and use Universal Control. As soon as I enable AirPlay in Music App to stream on both Macs, Universal Control stops working. Example : Mac 1 (M1) shares keyboard/mouse to control Mac 2 (Intel). Mac 1 plays Music and enable Airplay to play on Mac 1 and Mac 2. Suddenly shared keyboard/mouse from Mac 1 cannot "reach" Mac 2.

Sonos airplay and Music on Mac When playing Music on my Mac, I often loose the airplay connection with my sonos. This is solved by quitting Music and restarting it, but it is a bit annoying. Has someone experienced the same problems. I am running the latest Mac-os Ventura, and my Sonos are running the latest version of the sonos software. I now experience this problem since at least a year, so this is not related to a specific version of the software.
