iPhone 13 won’t turn on after software update

After about 2-3 days of the latest software update, my iPhone 13 suddenly went off. There were no issues in the phone- no hardware damage or software issue. The service center is terming it to be a hardware issue. When I spoke to Apple customer service, they are not giving any exception on this. But the software update caused this issue so why is the customer liable to pay for a replacement or repair? Anyone faced similar issue and if yes, what worked in your case.

iPhone 13, iOS 18

You just described a possible hardware failure that occurred just after a software update.

While this is unfortunate, it is not uncommon.

However, only an Apple Genius can review the cause and provide a complete solution.

Therefore, I recommend service.
