How can I see all my open tabs in Safari 18.4?

Safari 18.4 doesn't show all the open tabs…some are invisible.…just a blank slot with tabs hiding there

It happens all the time, across reboots, across quit/restarts of Safari.

That grey bar holds 49 tabs…I just tabbed through them (ctrl-shift-]) and counted them.

Toggling Separate/Compact tabs in prefs offers some hope. They all show up in Compact view, just not in Separate.

Seems like a misfeature of some kind.

Yes, it is a lot of tabs and I have 4 other tab groups as well. But that has never mattered before.

I know about tab overview and all of that. My issue is that the tabs no longer show in Separate view (Setting —> Tabs). They are visible in Compact view but I don't care for it. It used to work in previous versions of macOS/Safari and it seems that 15.4.1 (24E263) is where this breakage was introduced.

That's a lot of tabs! Am using an earlier MacOS version on my Mac, so this may or may not work for you:

In Safari > Click "View" (top menu bar)> Click "Show Tab Overview" . (You can then click "Hide Tab Overview")

If you wish:

Click "Window" in the top menu, to access more Tab controls ( & their keyboard shortcuts).
