CarPlay is not working after iOS 18.4.1 update

Just update your phone — that usually fixes it.If it doesn’t work, your phone’s Bluetooth might be acting up.

I can no longer connect CarPlay to my 2023 Subaru forester. Running 18.5 have started restarted turned all settings on and off. Blue tooth wireless connection works as a media selection but not CarPlay wireless or wired. Tried several cables both usb connection ports cleaned usb ports all attempts failed, apple fix this !

Works just fine for me on my iPhone 15 and my wife's 16 Pro Max.

There is no such thing as an iPhone 17 pro.

Not working at all after 18.4.1 and my Hyundai Tucson, iPhone 15 pro max, I never theirs 18.4

I’ll need to downgrade the OS if this continues, how do I do that ?

Check the owners manual or contact your dealer. Not sure about that specific model, but many head units now support either wired or wireless, not both.

carplay worked perfectly on my iPhone 14 Pro Max and 2018 Porsche macan. It no longer works after installing iOS 18.4.1. I tried every fix and nothing works.

For me the same, today update to iOS 18.4.1 and lost car play connection from my iPhone 15 max pro and Ford Everest (wireless)

Also worked for me in a Mazda CX-5.

Same issue here with a Chevy. Can't connect wireless CarPlay, bluetooth or USB. Any updates on this issue?

Did that no luck, works fine with cable and unlocking phone, but this defeats the purpose.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I rebooted by car Infotainment system and re-enabled CarPlay and everything now works as it did prior to installing 18.4.1.

My KIA EV3 worked before 18.4.1 with wireless CarPlay. Now no longer :-( or buggy. Cannot depend on it any longer, this update broke it.
