Apple CarPlay not connecting to my Audi vehicle

After updating to iOS 18.2.1 my phone is no longer connecting to car play !!! It was working fine but suddenly after update software it doesn’t work

  1. Check with your Audi dealer to determine if there is a manufacturer firmware update for your audio system that may introduce a CarPlay revision.
  2. Verify that a different phone is not already paired to use CarPlay.
  3. Review the owner's manual for the procedure to connect the iPhone and use CarPlay. I suggest unpairing the phone and completely starting over with the Audi documented procedure.


Beyond these steps, you may get lucky and someone with an iPhone 13 Pro with iOS 18.2.1 and your exact Audi model, year, and options may respond with a solution.

I had this and finally after week of suffering think i Cracked it ! (im also on a AUdi A3)


  • Delete Phone from Car
  • Delete Car from Phone.
  • on the Display of the car, if its supports it, Rename The Bluetooth Name of the car somewhere in settings.
  • Repair.


I'd factory reset my car, Factory reset my phone and it wasnt working , but i had a little fiddle before the gym this morning and it's now back up and running after those steps.
