Spotlight Indexing: System Settings > Search Results...?

I am currently using Ventura.

Within the System Settings > Search Results exists a set of check boxes for telling Spotlight what to index. This a partial assumption as this area does not specifically use the term Index, "Only elected categories will appear in Spotlight search results."

Most in this list are semi obvious, some are not understand at all:

...and my favorite...

Most importantly, Stickies and Notes are not indicated at all. Does this mean that they are not indexed for Search? My tests are inconclusive, I have found that Spotlight seems to locate content in Notes wether it is open or not. Stickies is another matter, Spotlight will not locate content in Stickies wether it is open or not.

Searches on the web have been unhelpful, information seems to be contradictory on this subject.

Has this condition changed in later versions of the OSX?

Is there a place that details Apple's Spotlight functions and behavior? So far I seem to find that Spotlight information to be somewhat scatter shot.

Thanks for any help.
