After the 18.4 update, I no longer hear sounds when I get an email. Notifications appear on screen, but no sound.

Same exact issue here since updating to 18.4 on an iPhone 16 Pro Max. Sounds for notifications worked just fine on 18.3.1, and those same settings remain now but no sound is played when an email arrives. Tried toggling them off and back on, no luck.
I’m not sure if anyone else said this already but have you checked in settings. Sounds & haptics. New mail was defaulted to none on my phone. Once I chose a sound, it was back.
Or how about settings. Mail. Notifications. Customize notifications. Under accounts, toggle on for alerts with the sound of your choice. I wonder if that would help?
