How can I block Safari website notifications on iPad iOS 18.3.2?

I am looking for controlling blocking or allowing the notfications from specific websites on the iPad using Safari. Where are those controls?

  • They are not in Settings > Notifications either under websites or Safari.
  • They are not in Settings > Apps > Safari. There is no Notifications line control, no website control.
  • I can find no such controls inside Safari iteslf.

So far on the iPad (and presumably the iPhone) the only controls that I can find to block notifications from specific websites in Safari are to block ALL Safari notifications or possibly to remove all website data for a specific website. There does not appear to be a way to allow some or to block others. Do they have to be controlled using Safari on a Mac and then synced to the iPad/iPhone?
